Transsexual Darts Champion Gets Team Kicked Out Of A Women's League For "Abusive Language" and "Adam's Apple"

In England, darts are a big thing—not just the game played at the bar when you’ve had too many pints (the Brits consider this prime athletic conditioning). So when a team of women dart players got kicked out of a league because of “foul and abusive language,” it became big news across the pond. Well, it may have to do more with one of the members of the team, Melanie Partlow, being a one-legged transsexual than the language, but we can’t know for sure.

Sorry, sarcasm doesn’t translate well on the screen.

Captain Leanne Gardiner, 29, said: “They gave us no official reason, but it’s obviously prejudice against Melanie… [and she] is feeling awful as it’s pretty clear that it’s down to her. The other players often ignored her, but nothing was said to her face.
Transsexual Melanie, from Cannock, had her sex-change op in Thailand after she and her then-wife Sue won £250,000 on the lottery… The redhead, who lost part of a leg after an illness, said joining the darts team was the only thing that kept her from a complete breakdown during bouts of depression.
“Most women are OK with me, but some refuse to shake my hand and won’t touch me. It’s daft because I feel as much of a woman as they are.”

We have to break down these walls of oppression people! If a one-legged transsexual darts player who went to Thailand to get her willie removed using her then-wife’s lottery winnings can’t get a fair shake in the world of darts, what chance do any of us have?
