On the heels of their “Women of Enron” and “Women of Worldcom” pictorials a few years back, Playboy has decided to throw itself back into the financial fray via its pictorial pages. There’s been a call made by the magazine for hot, professional women who are in someway connected to a financial firm that was affected by the recent meltdown.
Playboy came up with the idea for the feature after the onset of the global financial crisis, which has vaporized fortunes and left Wall Street reeling. It is planned for the February 2009 edition of the monthly magazine and on its website.
“When the news gets bad, then maybe that’s a chance to make people smile by coming up with something that puts a different twist on it,” said Gary Cole, Playboy’s photo editor.
After, ahem, perusing the previous “Enron” and “Worldcom” pictorials, we think we have a good idea of what kind of pictures are going to included in such a spread.
