Do you think new Knicks guard (and former Duke Blue Devil) Chris Duhon had a bone to pick with Barack Obama for hanging out and practicing with the UNC basketball team (pictured). In an interview with MSG TV, Duhon dished about playing ball with the maybe-future leader of the free world when he was a member of the Chicago Bulls. Apparently his ability to lead might have been formed on the court rather than in court if what Duhon says is true.
“He talks the whole time. He’s never quiet.” In an inter view with MSG’s Jill Martin airing tomorrow, Duhon said he played the Illinois senator in a pickup game in Chicago, where Duhon played for the Bulls.
“What are some of the things he would say?” Martin asked. ” ‘You can’t guard me!’ Just random talk,” Duhon replied. “He knows the game. He’s like a point guard out there, and so he’s always telling guys where to go, what to do, very vocal.” Who won? “Oh, I won - he may be running for president, but I’m not going to let him win, not going to take it easy on him. I don’t take it easy on anyone.”
If Obama wins, we can’t wait for the pentathlon between him and Vladamir Putin to decide who runs the free world once and for all. While Putin may have Obama’s number in the martial arts, we bet Obama clear sweeps the shooting, skiing and dance categories for the win.
