It's A Bad Day For Cowboy Fans As They Lose Tony Romo For Up To A Month

Since their hot start, plenty of things have gone south for the Dallas Cowboys. First it was Pacman Jones acting a fool again, as well as Terrell Owens when he was miffed at the number of targets he was getting. Now they’ve lost two in row, including their overtime heartbreaker in Phoenix yesterday, which not only sucks because they got another in the L column, but also Tony Romo’s throwing hand decided to give up on him during that extra frame. Their Pro Bowl quarterback is now going to be out of commission for up to a month rehabbing the broken pinky on his money maker.

Romo broke his right pinkie on the first play of overtime in a 30-24 loss at Arizona on Sunday, according to a posting on the team’s official Web site. The injury will not require surgery… [and] leaves the Cowboys (4-2) with 40-year-old Brad Johnson as the starter. Johnson, who won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, hasn’t started a game since 2006 in Minnesota.

So who’s got the pool where we can bet on who gives up in a more garish fashion, Owens on this team, or Randy Moss on the Brady-less Patriots?
