So what’s the most irresponsible thing you did as a kid? If you’re like us, it had to do with some combination of matches, foodstuffs, fabric and leaves. In the end, no one was hurt, but you did get your ass whipped by your mom (because the fabric just happened to be her favorite blouse). But for a seven year old in Australia, things might proceed a bit further than a spanking. That’s because the kid broke into a zoo and decided it was a good idea to start feeding a bunch of the housed reptiles to Terry, the resident crocodile. Well, when you think about it, when you’re seven, it is a good idea, isn’t it?
The boy, whose identity cannot be revealed, jumped the zoo’s security fence before bludgeoning three lizards to death with a rock, including the zoo’s much-loved 20-year-old goanna, which he then fed to “Terry,” an 11-foot, 440-pound saltwater crocodile, said Neindorf.
The boy also threw several live animals into the crocodile’s enclosure, and at one point tried to clamber over the fence surrounding the enclosure in an effort to get closer to the crocodile. A total of 13 animals, including a turtle, bearded dragons and a thorny devil were killed as a result of the attacks…
Maybe the kid was just having a bad trip from eating too many Lucky Charms and started chasing purple hearts and yellow clovers and one wrong turn at the zoo turned into bearded dragons and a thorny devils. Well, do you have any other explanations of this other than “He’s crazy?”
